The Best Sedona Mountain Biking

Sedona mountain biking is red rock slickrock, technical exposure, and some of the most iconic desert riding in the Southwest.

If Tucson is the winter training ground, Sedona is the shoulder season pilgrimage—where riders come to test their skills on ledges, test their nerve on exposure, and collect stories about riding trails named after carnivorous plants and aircraft.

This guide is currently under construction. MTB Diaries is riding, documenting, and field-testing every major Sedona trail network to bring you the same comprehensive coverage we’ve built for Tucson.

Coming soon:

  • The Sedona MTB Classics—essential rides that define red rock mountain biking
  • Trail network guides (Broken Arrow, Hangover, Soldier Pass, Village of Oak Creek, and more)
  • Trip planning tools (where to stay, when to ride, how to prepare for slickrock and exposure)
  • Event coverage (Sedona Mountain Bike Festival and more)
